As HASTAC's small contribution to a wonderful conference, several of us made a point of live blogging and micro-blogging the sessions we attended so we could push out the content to the widest possible audience, retweeting and Facebooking and so forth. Sheryl Grant, HASTAC's Director of Social Media for the Digital Media and Learning Competition, took the extra step of compiling a list of tweets and also as many of the blog postings she could find, from HASTAC and anyone else, and has aggregated them here on the www.hastac. site. We hope this is useful, and just a very minor contribution to a great event. Sheryl has also offered, next year, to do this in a more formal way and has ideas about how name badges for registrants can come with all the hashtags and with various ways that we can crowdsource documentation, communication, and social media functions for the event. Practice what we preach, in other ways, by making our conference participatory even for those unable to attend. Please let us know if this would be of interest and we can start developing a participatory communications plan. Here's the url for Sheryl's aggregation. We hope others will add anything we may have missed. And thanks again for a fabulous conference! http://www.hastac.org/blogs/slgrant/one-more-thing-or-why-dml-2010-conference-never-ends

We’re still trying to wrap our arms around the riveting conversation and probing questions that bubbled up at the conference, held at UC San Diego. Meantime, here's an initial batch of raw tweets from the conference with insights, ideas, observations, comments, questions, takeaways, and resource referrals that might be compelling both to those who were there, but also to those who were not. By most accounts, it was a unique event that brought together people from many countries around the theme, Diversifying Participation.… more

Thanks for sharing this!

I love how media theorists (Henry, Liz, et al.) are beginning to hang out with education/learning scientists (Reed, Yasmin, et al.).

Just a note that I (@mcdanger) was sharing the work of someone else (George Siemens), not my own. Prob didn't make that clear enough in my tweet...
